KIDS KARATE STUDENTS LEARNING SWEEP

Global martial arts Vista is located north of San Diego close to Carlsbad Oceanside and San Marcos. At global martial arts Vista, our kids karate classes this week will focus on sweeping techniques. One of the most important tools to sweep is to find a way to unbalance your training partner first. In this video, the kids karate students doing the sweep block a front kick and a punch. When the punch is coming the kid karate practitioner move to the side and instead of punch, the young karate students will grab his training partner. After that, the goal is to get closer and have his hips a little lower compare to his partner. Then karate student must unbalance his partner and sweep. Of course for safety its important to teach the kids practicing karate to fall properly.
